This is the second time that we presented “Grains of Sand” this year. Although it was hot for this second performance on this August night, it didn’t stop the audience from dancing the night away to the cool tunes of the Grains of Sand, bringing back memories from great beach music, Motown and more.

The Arts Council enjoyed presenting “Grains of Sand” last Saturday night at the outdoor concert on our lawn at The Arts Council Smithgall Arts Center. Audience members raved about the event and many mentioned that it brought back wonderful memories of “The Jesters”, a former band that many of the Grains of Sand members were a major force until the retirement of the band.
